Brand Strategy.
Seven lager tells the untold stories of the narrow alleyways along the now secret River Farset. The seven entries connected the city to the river where merchants frequently customed bringing wine, spices and tobacco to Belfast. Belfast not only owes its existence to the Farset, but also its name. The banks of the Farset developed into a Merchant town in the 1700's, a town where these stories originated from. The seven entries are brought to life on the can of lager.
Logo Design.
The brand mark is inspired by the flow of water, the hairline areas of each character are manipulated from a straight line to a wavy line. Manipulating the characters adds a sense of movement to the logo, adding to the brand character.
Visual Identity.
The minimalistic design on the packaging and communications is influenced by the water of the Farset. From the wavy flowing lines on the packaging, acting as a shadow to the logo, both influenced by the flow of water. All accompanied with a natural colour palette, born from the environment at the origin of the Farset on Squires Hill that looks over the city.
