Allianz have launched the 'Allianz Safe Driver' app that promotes young driver safety by tracking trips. Create a campaign to show that Allianz wants to insure young drivers. Responsible ones ideally. But not on their own cars, on their parents cars.
It takes courage for parents to put their kids on their car insurance. It can also take courage for parents to sit in as a passenger when their kid is driving as they fear every move their kid makes behind the wheel of the family car. Even though their kid is driving perfectly safe, parents will be extra cautious. Parents are the worst passengers.
The ‘Allianz Safe Driver’ app tracks how well you drive, so your parents don’t have to.
The campaign will include a light hearted television commercial and social video showing the expressions, reactions and bickering between the parent and their child in the car and showing the nervousness and panicking of the parent. The videos will use real footage from families in the car. The videos will communicate that “The ‘Allianz Safe Driver’ app tracks how well you drive, so your parents don’t have to’.
The campaign will include a OOH media showing the scene of the kid driving and the parent scrutinising their driving with the copy “The Allianz Safe Driver app tracks how well you drive, so your parents don’t have to”.
